Pen Blanks – Wood Padauk

Our wooden pen blanks have been sourced from sustainable managed woodland areas and prepared from the highest quality timbers and are available in both native and exotic timber types.

Although intended for the woodturner / pen turner, these wooden pen blanks are also ideal for turning lace bobbins, light pulls, jewellery and many other similar type projects.

Our wooden pen blanks measure approximately 20 x 20 x 150mm. They are easy to turn and drill, ensure you keep your turning tools sharp and when drilling remove small amounts at a time, to avoid any overheating.

Tip: We recommend the Colt Pen Drill Bits for drilling out the pen blanks. Dave also recommends the Diamond Coat Pen Polish (DCPP), for achieving a high gloss finish and the CA – High Bond: Thick Cyanoacrylate adhesive (CA022) for gluing the brass tubes in to the pen blanks
