Description
The light pull kit is one of our easier kits to make, comprising of three parts, a 7mm diameter brass tube with a decorative stud at one end and a top entry hole fitting for a cord or chain at the other. When fully assembled the light pull measures approximately 53 mm with a width determined by your own design.
The top part with the entry hole can be unscrewed to allow you to insert a cord with a knotted end inside the top, or you could insert a chain for a more exquisite look to the light pull. Look at all the cut off’s you have accumulated over time, such as acrylic pieces from pen turning or small pieces of timber you would normally discard. The light pull kit is a great way of using up these off cuts, you could even cut these pieces up and glue and then them together to make your own unique colourful turning blanks.
The finished light pull could be used in the bathroom, the little cupboard under the stairs, the garage, in the bedroom or anywhere you have a light pull action switch. You could also use them for the end of window blinds pull cord or even make your own decorations such as bubbles for the Christmas tree.
The light pull kits are available in a Gold or Chrome finish and require a 7 mm drill bit
