Description

The Forstner Bits – FAMAG Bormax®, Forstner Bits Guarantees a fastest cutting performance compared to other forstner bits, with the FAMAG Bormax®, Forstner bits you can remove a lot of material quickly and easily. The cutting edges are long lasting, durable and are easy to sharpen.

The new cutting head design combines the advantages of the wave-form cutting teeth, two main cutting edges and brad point with a hexagonal shank. Designed for flexibility, machining half, slanted, overlapping, and with the available extension bars for deep holes.

  • Can be used in a handheld power drill, pillar / bench drill and for the woodturner with a Jacobs style drill chuck and arbor. Low heat development and therefore unbelievable endurance.
  • For those deeper projects use the FAMAG Bormax® Extension Rods with the FAMAG Bormax® Forstner Bits
  • Manufactured from alloyed tool steel, which permits the ultimate sharpness and the maximum tool life
  • Rapid drilling in softwood, European hardwood, chipboard, MDF etc. Rapid material removal of solid wood and chipping boards. Clearly less effort is needed, and boring is more rapid than with the usual forstner bit
