Description
At some stage no matter how skilled we are, we would have finished turning the pen and carefully assembled all the parts to make a stunning pen, but then as we go to push the two halves of the pen together we suddenly find that the top of the pen will not fit correctly and keeps falling off.
Feeling disappointed with yourself after all the work you have put in to making the pen you then find that you have to make some adjustments to the insert inside the top of the pen, you could try using a screwdriver for this but there is the possibility of accidently breaking the insert with the screwdriver.
Rather than using a screwdriver or something similar and end up trashing your new pen, we recommend that the cap adjuster tool is used, this handy little device has four small prongs at the end, these simply fit neatly into the recesses inside the top of the white plastic nib cap. Using the cap adjuster tool turn to adjust the insert so that the top of the pen clicks into place when putting the pen together.
We also advice that you use the cap adjuster tool during the assembly phase when inserting the nib cap into the top half of the pen.
