Centre Steady

The Robert Sorby Centre Steady is a convenient way of keeping long, thin items straight and prevents them from flexing in the middle. This Centre Steady is designed to counter-act this problem and is constructed from heavy section steel; it features three independently adjustable fingers, which will hold work pieces with diameters between 1/8" and 4". The bearing on the fingers have been specially developed to eliminate any burning of the wood.

This is the ideal solution when working on those longer in length projects such as: Billiard Cues, Long Balustrades, Banister Spindles, Lamp standards and other similar projects
