The Liberon Sanding Sealer is a spirit based sealer for all types of new or stripped wood including MDF. Liberon Sanding Sealer is a spirit sealer which quickly seals the surface of bare wood and MDF prior to wax finishing. This will reduce the amount of effort, wax and time required to achieve a beautiful wax finish. Sanding Sealer is suitable for decorative items that do not require a hard wearing finish. The Chestnut Products Shellac Sanding Sealer is suitable for use on most timbers and on most interior applications including joinery and lathe work. Its use will give a higher build, increased gloss and a more hardwearing finish to your final coat. An excellent basecoat for friction and French polishes and waxes
Tip:
Do not over-brush as this can cause most of the sealing compound to collect at one end. Lightly sand, once dry for a silky smooth finish. This product Conforms to EN71 for use on toys.

NAME:Cellulose Sanding Sealer - Chestnut Products
The Chestnut Products Cellulose Sanding Sealer is a quick drying sealer which provides an excellent base for all Chestnut Products’ finishes which require the use of a sealer. This formula does not contain harmful petroleum solvents such as toluene and xylene. The Cellulose Sanding Sealer can be used as a basecoat for Melamine Lacquer, Acrylic Gloss Lacquer, Acrylic Lacquer, Ebonising Lacquer, Acrylic Satin Lacquer, Woodturner’s Stick Wax and Friction Polish.
Tip:
One coat should be sufficient to seal the piece you are working on. It is not advisable to apply more than one coat, especially when using a hard topcoat i.e. lacquers. This product can be tinted using Spirit Stain. Up to 10% of stain can be added to the sealer
