NAME:Titebond – Polyurethane Liquid Glue
Titebond Polyurethane Glue is a breakthrough in adhesive technology. It is the only polyurethane glue to combine a long 20-minute working time with a short 45-minute clamp time. It is versatile, professional-strength glue specifically formulated for multi-purpose applications.

This is a excellent glue not only suited for general woodworking but also woodturning projects including pen making, as the glue will expand and fill any gaps between the brass pen tube and the pen blank and once set the glue will not expand or contract. The Chestnut Products Cyanoacrylate Super Glues are supplied in three viscosities, Thick, Medium & Thin
C80025A – Thick: For gap filling
The Thick Cyanoacrylate super glue as a high viscosity and is ideal for use where there are small gaps between the materials being bonded together. It as a slightly slower cure time than the Thin & Medium glues and works well on most materials, this glue is ideal for bonding the brass tubing to the timber blank when pen making and other similar projects.
C80237D – Medium: For multi-purpose use
The Medium Cyanoacrylate super glue as a mid level viscosity again this glue can be used where it is necessary to bond materials allowing any small gaps to be filled. The Medium Cyanoacrylate super glue as a slower cure time which allows for better alignment of parts and works well on most materials, again a very good glue for pen making and similar small projects
C78043M – Thin: For capillary action
The Thin Cyanoacrylate super glue is ideal where there is a fine line to be bonded, due to the thinness, viscosity and the capillary action of this glue, it will run freely ensuring that the surface area to be bonded is completely covered. An ideal glue when repairing or securing loose bark on the natural edge of a bowl etc being turned on the lathe and other similar projects.
I have used these glues myself to see for myself how well they worked compared to other similar glues when making pens on my lathe, I also used the Thin Cyanoacrylate super glue, with its excellent capillary action, on the bark that had come loose and a piece that had broken off, on the edge of a Masur Birch hollow form I was working on. I first ensured that the area was clean and free of dust, then I applied the Thin super glue to the loose piece of bark and applied a piece of masking type to hold it down allowing it to cure, after removing the masking type you couldn’t tell that the bark had come away at all. NAME:Accelerator for Cyanoacrylate Superglue
The Chestnut Products Accelerator is design for the instant curing of the Cyanoacrylate Superglue. Used where the glue is exposed (gap filling etc) spray the accelerator onto the wet glue for an instant cure. Where the glue is hidden (mitres etc) spray onto one surface and allow solvent to dry. NAME:De-Bonder for Cyanoacrylate Superglue
The Chestnut Products De-Bonder is design for un-sticking and the cleaning of the Cyanoacrylate Superglue. Apply the De-Bonder to the areas you want to de-bond or where the glue as spilt using the brush which is supplied and fitted to the underside of the bottle cap. Ideal for projects such as pen making, where if by mistake you bond the wrong parts together, you then simply apply the De-Bonder using the brush to separate the parts which can then be used again, in the correct order, saving you time and money: Supplied in 20ml bottle with screw cap fitted with a applicator brush
