Description

The Woodturners Love Goblet with 3 captive rings a sign of true love, commissioned by a young soldier who was away on active service in Afghanistan. He wanted something special for his wife on their first wedding anniversary.

The story of the Woodturners Love Goblet and meaning of the captive rings, was written on a piece of parchment like paper. Presented together with a red rose and handcrafted box / case, which was made from the same piece of oak timber.

The love goblet with three captive rings was turned from a single piece of Oak and the box was handcrafted from the same piece of timber; the Oak timber came from an old Oak tree that had been severely damaged in high winds in the area of Llanarth near Abergavenny in South Wales.
