Pen Blanks – Alternative Bone

It would not be acceptable in this day and age to go out and just take what we wanted from the natural environment. We have an Alternative Bone made from polyester materials which is an acceptable likeness to the real thing in looks,

The alternative Bone measures approximately 20mm dia x 150mm long, ideal for the pen turner and craftsperson to make something special. The alternative Bone is turned and finished in the same way as the acrylic pen blanks. We do recommend that your tools are razor sharp for turning these types of materials

Use our Starbright Plastic Polish (SBPP) and the Micro Mesh Acrylic Pen Kit (MMAPK) to achieve that ultimate gloss finish.

We recommend using the Colt Pen Drill Bits for drilling out the alternative Bone pen blanks.
