Description

Where would the dinner table be with the salt & pepper grinders? You’ll find that most kitchenware shops are now offering salt and pepper mills utilising ceramic mechanisms. This is simply because they are more durable, adjustable and much more efficient than most other similar kitchenware products. The CrushGrind® mechanisms that we sell are available shaftless and three different shaft lengths.

The shaft can be reduced in length for a shorter mill if required. CrushGrind® is like no other grinders; their unique ceramic mechanism allows you to grind salt, pepper, coffee, herbs and spices. The mechanisms are fully adjustable from fine to coarse with 14 settings in total.

Another reason for using the CrushGrind® mechanisms is safety (choking hazards from loose screws falling from the mechanism unseen), there is no need for any glues or screws when assembling the CrushGrind® mechanisms / mills. The special recess tool, Robert Sorby – Crush Grind Tool (895CGH) is available for shaping the inside of the blank for insertion of the mechanism. Or the Woodcut Mill Drill for Crush Grind Salt & Pepper Mechanisms (504464) this is ideal if you need to make a lot of the CrushGrind® mechanisms.

Ideal gifts for Christmas, weddings for yourself and are good sellers at the craft shows and craft shops.

Tip: Use the Chestnut Products Food Safe finishing oil code FSF/50 to prolong and enhance the natural beauty of the timber being used to turn the salt and pepper mills.
