The apprentice letter opener kit is a 24k gold plated letter opener, which offers good looks and is an exceptional value.
The 3 1/8” long dagger style blade and 2″ handle length make it comfortable to hold and lightweight too.
The picture shows an example of the finished letter which was turned with the alternative tortoise shell pen blank
In addition to the pen kit you will also require the following and we recommend using the pen drill bits for drilling out the pen blank prior to gluing up. Our bushing sets will fit most standard pen mandrel shafts.
